One of the greatest things about photographing newborns is meeting their lovely parents! This session was no exception. Dad had the cutest Irish accent and mom was a total doll! They were so in LOVE with their new little addition and I can totally see why! He was such a sweet and perfect little baby. He didn’t fuss at all and I don’t think he even woke for feeding while I was shooting him. The first thing I noticed about Baby “K” was that his skin was so perfect. I had never seen a newborn with such smooth skin before. His mom introduced me to non-processed coconut oil. Apparently, this oil has powers stronger than prescriptions because I tried it on my darling daughter after a trip to the dermotologist and a $300 bill for creams. And guess what? It worked on her rash. I could not believe it! Ok, enough about coconut oil.
Take a look at the shots of Baby “K”s nursery. Mom did that all by herself. Isn’t it amazing? I loved the color combinations and designed Baby “K”s birth announcement and image box based on the nursery. Such a great job Mom!!
You might have noticed that lately I have been shooting a lot of parent shots. I really adore them. The love is so real and it show through here.

He's Just A Gorgeous Little Newborn | Orange County Newborn Photography

Yes he is! A little sneak peak of Handsome Baby “C” for mom and dad. Baby “C” was such a little delight to work with. He was oh so calm and even when he was awake he was very peaceful. He made the cutest little expressions with his little lips. His Big Bro “M” was such a doll too! He and I bonded instantly. Mom and dad were super great people and I enjoyed working with them. Thank you so much for letting me be part of documenting Baby “C’s” life. I hope you enjoy this little sneak peak!

I love newborns..seriously I do! No matter how many newborn babies I see I am always still amazed at each one of my client’s newborn. I’m amazed at how tiny they are and how each one has a beauty of their own. Baby “B” was a stunning beautiful baby. As you can see she has a full head of gorgeous hair, beautiful skin and was oh so petite. She was tiny like her mommy…weighing in at only 6 lbs, 5 oz., but tall like her daddy measuring 19.5″. Tall and thin…you can’t complain about that! She really already looked like a model!
This lovely family lived in a very charming home. I loved the way mom decorated it. It had a cottage, shabby chic style to it. Can you probably tell by my blog posts that I also love to look at my clients homes? Not only am I a newborn photographer, graphic designer and mom, but I also went to school for Interior Design.
Well enough chatter. Here is a little sneak peek of newborn Baby “B” at only 9 days old…..

Meet Sweet Baby "E"

Baby “E” was three weeks old when I did his session. He was still so very tiny and very sleepy….so adorable! He did so well during our shoot. Mom was so sweet and so excited about the session. I feel very fortunate to have been chosen to shoot her first baby “E”. Here are a few from the session. Thank you for looking!

Magical Beach Maternity Session...

This maternity session was one of my favorite sessions. I just LOVE the beach! There is just something spiritual and so peaceful about it.
This good looking young couple wanted a beach maternity session before they left California to temporarily relocate. They were the sweetest couple ever! They are expecting twins in July…one boy and one girl! How perfect is that? It was so neat being around such a young couple that were so madly in love with eachother! I could see it in their eyes and the way they interacted with eachother. It was the first time I had been to this beach. There is no public beach access unless you swim there. It was very secluded and as you can see just spectacular!
After I shot the first image below I knew it would be a “magical” shot and I just could not wait to get home and process it! I love it! Ok, so are you just wondering how cute their newborn twins are going to be? Well I am! I am so sad that I won’t be taking their newborn photos. Come back to California “A & C”!! LOL!! Send me a photo of your twins when you deliver! I want to see them!!

Clarice you are amazing! You made our day so special and truly captured the beauty of our little man. I was just looking at these yesterday and had tears in my eyes thinking about watching you hold and pose him into this amazing piece of art. You have such a gentle way with newborns that leaves them in their natural, comfortable slumber. I can’t wait for our next sessions to continue to capture the essence of Keagan as he grows. He still has beautiful skin and the coconut oil has allowed him to be diaper rash and baby acne free since birth with no use of diaper creams or anything else…it is truly the wonder oil! Glad it helped your precious one as well. See you soon!
