Isn’t this mom so beautiful? I loved hearing her and her husband talk about how they are still married after all these years. Yes, she is young and this is their second child. Their first child is already 12 years old. Isn’t that awesome? They were both so kind and so excited about their arrival. I can’t wait to meet their little girl! Just a little sneak peak for the “B” Family…

And yes he’s MINE!! I love this little guy. He is a boy of many nicknames. We call him Buster…which was his first word by the way. Wasn’t Mommy or Daddy just Buster. LOL. I knew before he was born that he would be a handful. I felt him move around when he was 13 weeks in utero. When I would go in for monitoring the nurses and my OB would always tell me that I’ve got a HAPPY one in there. LOL. I was scheduled for a repeat c-section but he decided to come a day early. I loved bonding with him in the hospital. He slept on me for hours.
Now he is 4. My little boy “K” is now 4. Can’t believe it. Time really does fly by. He’s lost his chubby cheeks but I still manage to find enough to kiss up. I has so much personality and so much spunk it is really hard to get mad at him and keep a straight face when he is doing something naughty cuz he often will turn on his charm and make me want to burst out laughing.
He LOVES his sister “R” and thinks of her when she is in school. He will ask me to also get an item for “R” when we are alone so that she won’t feel left out. He’s very sweet!
Anyhow…here is my little guy 4 years old and silly. I feel I really caught his spirit in these photos. Happy Birthday “K”!! You are my world! I love you!

Magical Beach Maternity Session...

This maternity session was one of my favorite sessions. I just LOVE the beach! There is just something spiritual and so peaceful about it.
This good looking young couple wanted a beach maternity session before they left California to temporarily relocate. They were the sweetest couple ever! They are expecting twins in July…one boy and one girl! How perfect is that? It was so neat being around such a young couple that were so madly in love with eachother! I could see it in their eyes and the way they interacted with eachother. It was the first time I had been to this beach. There is no public beach access unless you swim there. It was very secluded and as you can see just spectacular!
After I shot the first image below I knew it would be a “magical” shot and I just could not wait to get home and process it! I love it! Ok, so are you just wondering how cute their newborn twins are going to be? Well I am! I am so sad that I won’t be taking their newborn photos. Come back to California “A & C”!! LOL!! Send me a photo of your twins when you deliver! I want to see them!!

I Believe In Miracles

A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate to meet a lovely and brave little girl named Hannah and her amazingly sweet mom Shelly. Hannah was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer at the young age of 13 months. After almost 5 full years of trying to cure her cancer, her doctors have decided that traditional medical treatments will not cure Hannah. Her family is praying for a miracle. If you are reading this story and believe in the power of prayer please join me in saying one right now.
I wanted to share with you my experience when I was photographing sweet little Hannah. Her mother Shelly is just such a strong and beautiful person. She is actually the sister of one of my Belly to Baby clients. You might remember the beautiful blonde mama to be? Maybe you might remember her beautiful newborn Baby “S”? Anyhow, not only did Shelly arrive with Hannah but her whole family came to the beach session for support. Hannah’s grandparents, two of her Aunties, one of her Uncles and her sweet little cousin. I really cannot explain the sense of LOVE that I felt between them. But it was very evident that there was a very strong bond between them. They were there for EACHOTHER.

Hannah wasn’t feeling very well the day of our shoot. But she was such a great sport! I was so honored to photograph Hannah and her family and am very happy to share a few shots from her session.

Meet Baby

Well I’ve been a little behind in blogging here. But I am going to catch up!
This little guy is the winner of the OC Mommies Cutest Baby Contest. Surely, deserving of his title! He is such a handsome little baby and such an easy going little boy. I had been communicating with his sweet mom for months and we finally were able to do something for his 1 year photos. Baby K was great with eye contact so photogenic. Loved when his dad played peek-a-boo with him. It made him smile and laugh. I really enjoyed photographing him and meeting his lovely parents. Here are a few of my favs from our photo session. Baby K’s mom described this shot as “Magical”. I have to agree. It’s my favorite shot from our session. I love the way Baby K is gazing into the sky.
