Isn’t she quite the beauty? She was a perfect little model too! Didn’t wake and was so easy to work with. I love her! Loved working with this family. They were just awesome! Welcome gorgeous Baby “M”…only 6 days new here!

My sister is a big enthusiast for landscape photography and every now and then we get together to shoot. I love spending time with my twin sister. I don’t see her enough. She’s so good at long exposure and I learn so much from her when we get together for these types of shoots. I also enjoy the ocean so much…you might already know that if you’ve read my blog before. Check these beautiful sea creatures that I found….

Welcome Baby “K” | Orange County Baby Photographers

One of the greatest things about photographing newborns is meeting their lovely parents! This session was no exception. Dad had the cutest Irish accent and mom was a total doll! They were so in LOVE with their new little addition and I can totally see why! He was such a sweet and perfect little baby. He didn’t fuss at all and I don’t think he even woke for feeding while I was shooting him. The first thing I noticed about Baby “K” was that his skin was so perfect. I had never seen a newborn with such smooth skin before. His mom introduced me to non-processed coconut oil. Apparently, this oil has powers stronger than prescriptions because I tried it on my darling daughter after a trip to the dermotologist and a $300 bill for creams. And guess what? It worked on her rash. I could not believe it! Ok, enough about coconut oil.
Take a look at the shots of Baby “K”s nursery. Mom did that all by herself. Isn’t it amazing? I loved the color combinations and designed Baby “K”s birth announcement and image box based on the nursery. Such a great job Mom!!
You might have noticed that lately I have been shooting a lot of parent shots. I really adore them. The love is so real and it show through here.

You might remember the little sneak peek I did of handsome Baby “K” with his beautiful mom? You can see that image here. I wanted to show you more of his session cuz it was one of my favs. Both parents were so kind and as you can see here you know why Baby “K” is so good looking. He got the good looking genes from both his parents. Here he is at 17 days new. He was a pretty good sleeper for being 17 days old! Thank you mom and dad for choosing me to be Baby “K’s” photographer. I feel very honored and blessed!

Handsome Baby “K” at 9.5 Weeks | Orange County Baby Photographer

I loved this session with baby “K”. He was wide awake and didn’t want to miss one minute while I was there. His parents are amazing and have the greatest taste in names! This handsome little guy had the same name as my son! Their home was so beautiful that I wanted to capture that in their session. I love to include the evironment when I can.

We recently returned from a wonderful vacation on the island of Kauai. One of my favorite places in the entire world. I spent most of my summers there while growing up and both my parents were born and raised on the island of Kauai. When my mom passed away several years ago we sprinkled her ashes there as this was her wish. The island is such a spiritual place for me. One early morning I took my kids to one of the beautiful beaches there and my daughter was just playing and walking on the beach. I took this capture and it has such an ethereal feel to it. I felt my sweet mom was watching over my darling daughter. They never had the chance to meet each other but I know my children would have adored her as much I did. My mom always wanted grandchildren and she pretty much gave up the idea as none of my sisters or I had children before she passed. I know she sees them everyday and is always with us in a higher sense. This image is a reminder to me of that. Thank you mom for being who you are….

Meet Adorable Baby “K” | Orange County Newborn Photographer

Just a little sneak peek for mom and dad. Baby “K” could not have slept better if I had wished for it. Only 7 days old and already he was such a charmer. Mom was clearly taken with her little guy and why not…look at him. He’s adorable and he had the cutest little fuzz on his face. And look at mom…when she let her hair down it was like WOW! She is amazing infront of the camera, just like her son. Thanks Mom & Dad for inviting me into your home and sharing this special moment in your lifes! I feel blessed being asked to document your newborn’s arrival. Welcome Baby “K”!
