I Believe In Miracles

A couple of weeks ago I was fortunate to meet a lovely and brave little girl named Hannah and her amazingly sweet mom Shelly. Hannah was diagnosed with a rare kidney cancer at the young age of 13 months. After almost 5 full years of trying to cure her cancer, her doctors have decided that traditional medical treatments will not cure Hannah. Her family is praying for a miracle. If you are reading this story and believe in the power of prayer please join me in saying one right now.
I wanted to share with you my experience when I was photographing sweet little Hannah. Her mother Shelly is just such a strong and beautiful person. She is actually the sister of one of my Belly to Baby clients. You might remember the beautiful blonde mama to be? Maybe you might remember her beautiful newborn Baby “S”? Anyhow, not only did Shelly arrive with Hannah but her whole family came to the beach session for support. Hannah’s grandparents, two of her Aunties, one of her Uncles and her sweet little cousin. I really cannot explain the sense of LOVE that I felt between them. But it was very evident that there was a very strong bond between them. They were there for EACHOTHER.

Hannah wasn’t feeling very well the day of our shoot. But she was such a great sport! I was so honored to photograph Hannah and her family and am very happy to share a few shots from her session.

I’m still catching up with last years sessions! This young lady “L” was full of cuteness and so silly and fun to be around! Mom told me she loves to do handstands while doing her homework! LOL. I need a video of that! Mom is a long time friend of mine. Way before we were married and had children we worked together at a big digital corporation in the International Accounting Dept. Yes me..I was a Junior Accountant and so was she. We worked many hours together and on the weekends. EEK…there went our young lifes. LOL.
Anyways, here is Miss “L”…ain’t she cute?

Boys Will Be Boys! | Orange County Child & Family Photographer

I had so much fun shooting these little guys…they’re twins by the way! They are the boys of my good friend “S”. We’ve known eachother since before our children arrived and our kids are only a few days apart! So, it was a real pleasure for me to do this session! As you can see the boys are having fun being boys! I just loved these playful shots that I got of them. I also, pulled out my wide angle lens and got to use that for these shots. I love that baby…I love the way the skies look when I use this lens. Anyhow, thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy the images!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting this fun and adorable couple who just got engaged in Maui a couple of weeks ago! We did this session at the San Clemente Pier. I was really really hoping the weather was going to cooperate and give us some sun but it wasn’t going to happen. I think the sparks between the two of them lit enough light up for this session though! Awe to be so young and in love! Congratulations S & P!

Do you remember the pretty young maternity mommy waiting in the meadow? Well here is her handsome son at 10 days old…Welcome Baby “C”. He is quite a looker isn’t he? Well I knew he would be…cuz look at his gorgeous parents! I truely loved meeting Baby “C”. I wanted to take him home but I resisted! Here is his sneak peak…..Thanks for looking!
