Before I had my own children I didn’t realize how quickly time passes and how fleeting the newborn stage really was. Preserving those memories of their little tiny toes and fingers are so important. They don’t stay that tiny for long and it’s such a miraculous time. I unfortunately, didn’t even realize photographers that specialized in newborns existed when my oldest child was born. Huh? I was giddy and astounded when I was introduced to a local talented newborn photographer’s work while pregnant with my son. I immediately booked a session even though he was not due for another 6 months! So, I have beautiful images of him while he was only 8 days old! I think I look at those photos almost everyday! I will treasure these images forever and feel very thankful that I invested into a session!
Some people ask me why should I pay the prices of a custom newborn photographer when I can go to Sears and get my newborn photographs done for a lot less? Well, yes you could very well go to Sears and UM…you will get a lot less. You may pay less but your experience and images will be lacking in so many areas. Let me help you see what I am talking about.
10 Reasons to Use a Custom Portrait Photographer For Your Newborn Session
1 ) With an experienced newborn photographer you will receive very unique, artful images that will bring you a lifetime of wonderful memories.
2 ) Your photographer goes at your babies pace anticipating break times for feeding and your session is completely devoted to you and your little one.
3 ) Beautiful heirloom albums, custom brag books, canvases and storyboards can be created with your images.
4 ) There is no exposing your newborn to germs from a public place.
5 ) Each image will be individually processed to perfection.
6 ) Each image will be a piece of art and your babies unique self will show through. You won’t be given cookie cutter images to select from.
7 ) Props such as blankets and hats have all been washed and cleaned after every session.

This little baby is a stunner in every way! Look at all her hair! I had to postpone our session for two weeks due to me catching the flu. But I finally got to meet this beautiful babe and her beautiful mommy that I have been chatting with for weeks! What a wonderful family! Congratulations Family “M”!

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting this fun and adorable couple who just got engaged in Maui a couple of weeks ago! We did this session at the San Clemente Pier. I was really really hoping the weather was going to cooperate and give us some sun but it wasn’t going to happen. I think the sparks between the two of them lit enough light up for this session though! Awe to be so young and in love! Congratulations S & P!

I had so much fun! My older sister “M” is here for the weekend and my twin sister “D” and I all went out to the San Clemente pier last night to shoot landscape. Now both of my sisters are big into landscape and well me not so much….LOL. Mainly cuz I’m not sure what I’m doing when shooting landscape cuz it’s a whole different ball game then shooting portraits. But I learned so much! Thank you “M” and “D”! I love you both even if you shoot Nikon! LOL!

Isn’t she just divine? This little one was really a tiny little babe! During our session we had some very intense noise going on that my sound machine could not even hide. But Baby “C” was still great! She is only 10 days old here and what a beautiful bundle she is! Mom was super super sweet too. Keep an eye out for her cuz I know she will be an upcoming jewelry designer! Check out this gorgeous necklace she gave me at the end of our session! How could I not accept a beautiful gift like this? Baby Boy “R” was ready to go upon his arrival. He was so sweet and sleepy! What a dream model he was for me. Isn’t he one of the most handsomest little guys you have ever seen? Mom was so sweet too! Here he is at 14 days old!
