I'm PUBLISHED!

April 27, 2011

This is really exciting news for me!  I was recently asked to participate in a book submission for a book called “Mamarazzi” by Stacy Wasmuth.  Not shortly after I agreed to parrticipate Stacy contacted me to tell me that her book was going to be published! Congrats to you Stacy! Her book is really put together nicely and has a lot of photos!  I am very honored to have an image in the same book as many well known rockstar photographers!  I’m also excited to say it’s a photo of my two kiddos!  So, not only did I get published but my two darlings are now in a book! How cool is that?  Thank you Stacy for asking! I am very honored!

If you are interested in getting a copy you can get it at your local Barnes and Noble or check it out here on Amazon.com! Here is the description of what’s inside: Now you can learn how to photograph children with the style, clarity, color, and beauty you see in professional photographs. This fun guide combines humor with solid know-how to show you how to compose shots, handle cameras from basic compacts to advanced dSLRs, take portraits or candids, create prints that impress, and even work with kids! Packed with beautiful examples and written in a down-to-earth style from one mom to another, this book will help mamarazzis everywhere take better photos.

And of course this wouldn’t be a blog post without a photo!

Welcome to My Blog! - Orange County, California Newborn, Maternity Photographer

Hi my name is Clarice. I'm a mother, wife, photographer and graphic designer. I have always had a love for design and the arts. I never thought I would be able to learn the skills of a photographer but after being inspired by a local newborn photographer that photographed my son I knew I had to give it a shot. My children were my first subjects and continue to be my most popular subjects when they let me. ;-)

There is something about photography that connects me to my subjects that I cannot find in graphic design. I try to capture a tiny window to my subjects souls so that others may see what beauty lies within them.
