Orange County Newborn Twin Photographer | Meet the Adorable

Are these gals not model perfect?  They are not your typical newborn because they are already 7 weeks old and 3 days!  When mom contacted me she wanted photos of her beautiful babes “together”.   I think the photograph below is one of my favs from the session.  I was so excited to meet the darling little girls… Baby “K” and Baby “Z” and their beautiful mama!  Baby “K” was striking a pose for most of her solo session.  They both did so well! I was extremely happy because that made my job so much easier!  When I was leaving I noticed photos on their walls of mama’s modeling days…GA GA GORGEOUS! Daddy looked like Patrick Swayze so you know why these babes are so good looking right?

{Orange County Newborn Photographer} Meet 7 Day Old Baby G!

You know I think I am just the luckiest photographer around because I get the most beautiful babies to photograph. This newborn is absolutely no exception! Baby G was only 7 days old and a stunner just like her mom.  I got to know Baby G’s mom quite well even prior to our session. She is a fantastic person and I am so honored to have been able to be a part of documenting Baby G’s arrival.  This session took place in the most amazing Hollywood Hills home.  The architecture was exquisite, clean lines and very contemporary decor.  One side of the house was of entire glass and oh what a view. So, of course I wanted to incorporate some of this beautiful home in this session.

Baby G’s dad was so helpful in watching big sis while mom fed Baby G and got her sleepy for our session.  Big sis got to go to the park and take a nap.  When she returned she didn’t really want anything to do with being photographed. :(   But I did manage to get some wonderful family shots.  Baby G did so well and was such an awesome model for her newborn session! Take a look at this newborn beauty!

I Heart Faces – SMILES

If you are not familiar with iheartfaces.com contests you should check it out!  This weeks contest is “Smile”.  I took this image of my two kiddos when we were at the park last summer.  I love the way they are interacting and having fun even when I am forcing my camera on them. LOL.

Meet Baby

Well I’ve been a little behind in blogging here. But I am going to catch up!

This little guy is the winner of the OC Mommies Cutest Baby Contest.  Surely, deserving of his title! He is such a handsome little baby and such an easy going little boy.  I had been communicating with his sweet mom for months and we finally were able to do something for his 1 year photos.  Baby K was great with eye contact so photogenic. Loved when his dad played peek-a-boo with him. It made him smile and laugh. I really enjoyed photographing him and meeting his lovely parents.  Here are a few of my favs from our photo session.  I hope you enjoy them and thank you for looking!

Baby K’s mom described this shot as “Magical”.  I have to agree. It’s my favorite shot from our session.  I love the way Baby K is gazing into the sky.

Hi my name is Clarice. I'm a mother, wife, photographer and graphic designer. I have always had a love for design and the arts. I never thought I would be able to learn the skills of a photographer but after being inspired by a local newborn photographer that photographed my son I knew I had to give it a shot. My children were my first subjects and continue to be my most popular subjects when they let me. ;-)

There is something about photography that connects me to my subjects that I cannot find in graphic design. I try to capture a tiny window to my subjects souls so that others may see what beauty lies within them.
